AP Poll: Mizzou moves up to 19

After a 42-6 Homecoming win against the UMass Minutemen, the Missouri Tigers have continued their climb up the AP Poll to reach No. 19.
The Tigers began the season receiving votes, then have slowly moved up the rankings through their 5-0 start. After Week 2, the Tigers entered the poll at No. 25, then moved up to No. 23 after beating Louisiana and rose to No. 20 after beating South Carolina.
Missouri also climbed one spot in the coaches poll, going from No. 19 to No. 18.
As the Tigers rose, Georgia fell, dropping from No. 7 to No.12.
Four top-10 teams have rearranged after previously-No. 7 Georgia, previously-No. 4 LSU, previously-No. 3 Penn State and previously-No. 8 Florida State all lost.
Along with Georgia, LSU dropped to No. 13, Penn State fell to No. 7 and Florida State fell to No. 18.
Now the top 10 sits at:
- No. 1 Ohio State
- No. 2 Oregon
- No. 3 Miami
- No. 4 Ole Miss
- No. 5 Oklahoma
- No. 6 Texas A&M
- No. 7 Penn State
- No. 8 Indiana
- No. 9 Texas
- No. 10 Alabama
The biggest rise came from Ole Miss, which jumped nine spots after beating formerly-No. 4 LSU.
The biggest fall came from Florida State, which dropped 10 spots.
The Tigers have a handful of ranked opponents left. Next up is No. 10 Alabama after a bye week. Then comes No. 16 Vanderbilt, No. 6 Texas A&M and No. 5 Oklahoma.
