Tigers in the NFL: Darius Robinson notes frustrations in second season

In the Arizona Cardinals’ fourth straight loss, Darius Robinson got emotional.

The 2024 first-rounder, who missed parts of his rookie season due to injury, felt the frustrations compounding after falling to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 20-17. Robinson, a second-year defensive lineman, logged four tackles, one by himself.

“We’ve only won three games since September,” Robinson said Sunday, via Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic. “That’s terrible. It starts with myself. I’m not who I thought I was.”

The Cardinals are now 3-9 on the season, with Robinson holding a career-high 22 tackles — 10 solo — and one sack. The 24-year-old missed two weeks in October with a pectoral injury before later suffering a groin injury the next month.

How other Tigers performed in Week 13

Emerging as the top seed in the NFC with a 24-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Black Friday, the Chicago Bears received 36 all-purpose yards from rookie wideout Luther Burden III. In a Thanksgiving loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Nick Bolton led all defenders with 11 total tackles, six by himself, with two passes defended.

In an entertaining Sunday Night Football win, Denver Broncos running back Tyler Badie reeled in three of his five targets for 18 yards. The Memphis (Tenn.) Briarcrest Christian product also returned two kickoffs for 50 total yards as the Broncos improved to 10-2.

Trystan Colon started at center for the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving against the Green Bay Packers. After taking snaps at the position two weeks prior, Colon struggled for the Lions in the 31-24 loss, posting a 49.6 offensive grade by Pro Football Focus.
