Missouri will open its 2025 regular season against Central Arkansas with new faces across its offense and defense.

The Tigers addressed holes in their roster through the transfer portal once again. And while opening the year on a fourth consecutive Thursday against a non-Power Four opponent, they also extended their second quarterback battle in the past three seasons into Week 1. Here’s how those two along with other starters ranked as recruits and transfers.

Missouri:

Quarterbacks: Beau Pribula, Sam Horn

Running backs: Ahmad Hardy, Jamal Roberts

Wide receivers: Joshua Manning, Kevin Coleman Jr., Marquis Johnson

Tight ends: Brett Norfleet, Jordon Harris

Offensive line: Cayden Green, Dominick Giudice, Connor Tollison, Curtis Peagler, Keagen Trost

Defensive linemen: Zion Young, Marquis Gracial, Sterling Webb, Chris McClellan, Damon Wilson II

Linebackers: Triston Newson, Josiah Trotter

Defensive backs: Daylan Carnell, Jalen Catalon, Marvin Burks Jr., Drey Norwood, Toriano Pride Jr., Stephen Hall

Central Arkansas

While an FCS program, not every rostered starter for the Bears received a ranking in either high school or college, according to the On3 | Rivals database. Central Arkansas defensive backs L.J. Hewitt and Marcus Scott II, a former Rivals four-star, played for Missouri during the 2022 season.

Only transfer quarterback Luther Richesson is listed on the Bears’ roster for On3.

Quarterback: Luther Richesson

Other top players as recruits and transfers:

Central Arkansas also added offseason transfers in Oklahoma running back Chapman McKown, Arkansas State offensive lineman Landon Bridges, Southern Miss running back Jalen Washington, Tulsa wide receiver Mari Smith, Arkansas wide receiver Kamron Bibby, Middle Tennessee State wide receiver Sam Driggers, UTSA offensive lineman Walker Baty and Rice offensive tackle Lance Jeffcoat.
