Mizzou players speak ahead of Arkansas
Mizzou quarterback Beau Pribula, defensive end Damon Wilson and safety Santana Banner met with media Tuesday ahead of the Tigers’ matchup with Arkansas. Here are the full videos of all three.
Beau Pribula
“Arkansas is a good team,” Pribula said. “They played LSU really close, they played an undefeated Texas A&M team really close a couple of weeks ago. They have a good defense. Overall, I think for us, improvement wise, we just want to get drives started. Find easy completions. Get the run game going. And then just find a rhythm.”
“When it happened at Vanderbilt and I was on that cart, I didn’t think I was gonna be able to even walk again for a long time when it happened,” Pribula said. “I think, realistically, once we figured out that nothing was broken. And once, I was not weight-bearing for about two weeks. So once I was able to start walking again and we were able to gradually go from walking to jogging and out of the boot and everything, that’s when it kind of became realistic.”
Damon Wilson
“They have a really explosive offense,” Wilson said. “I think their quarterback keeps them alive. … Just overall, their quarterback plus-one run game is something that’s always hard to stop.”
“Just focusing on, what’s this, Toughness Tuesday, just trying to dominate inside run,” Wilson said. “I’m not, can’t worry about the future right now. Still trying to get better. I’m still only 20, I’ve got a lot to improve.”
Santana Banner
“I feel like coming in, I had a lot of improvement from last year,” Banner said. “I would say last year, I was really playing off athleticism, I feel like I’ve really honed my techniques and all that this year.”
