With the Class of 2027 becoming more of the focus across college football, Missouri still has its eyes on top targets in the 2026 class.

But with two home games left on the schedule, the Tigers have top junior prospects ranked in the updated Rivals300 that released Monday. Here’s a snapshot of those targets by position:

Quarterback

Three-star Braylen Warren emerged as the top quarterback target for Missouri this fall. But in this week’s update, the Omaha (Neb.) Westside signal-caller dropped from No. 211 to unranked. The Tigers have another quarterback target on the list in Goodyear (Az.) Desert Edge four-star Blake Roskopf, who debuted at No. 251. Roskopf visited Missouri in June.

Running back

With head coach Eli Drinkwitz and wide receivers coach Jacob Peeler watching East St. Louis (Ill.) High earlier this month, the staffers got theirs on Myson Johnson-Cook, a four-star athlete. While primarily recruited as a running back, Johnson-Cook moved back to Illinois after spending his sophomore season at DeSoto (Texas) High.

Johnson-Cook, the No. 73 overall recruit in the Rivals300, named Missouri to his Top 12 on Friday. Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M also cracked the list.

While moving up one spot in the Rivals300 to No. 294, Asa Barnes also added a fourth star. The Martin (Tenn.) Westview wide-zone running back visited Missouri for the first time Oct. 11 for the Alabama game.

Wide receiver

While previously scheduling a game visit to Missouri for Sept. 20, Monshun Sales hasn’t rescheduled a trip with the Tigers. The program has continued to fall down the ladder for the No. 14 overall recruit and Rivals Industry five-star.

In a similar vein, Missouri got in early with four-star Quentin Burrell, who also showed interest in returning to Columbia after a spring visit with fellow Rivals300 teammates Roman Igwebuike and Tavares Harrington. Burrell ranked No. 41 in the update.

When Peeler took his recruiting trip in early October, the wideouts coach stopped back in at Collierville (Tenn.) High, the school that produced former backup Missouri quarterback Aidan Glover. Peeler has another target there in four-star Tae Walden Jr., who debuted in the Rivals300 at No. 88. Miami commit Ah’Mari Stevenswho has still heard from Missouri — remained on the list at No. 209.

Tight end

A longtime in-state target, Jack Brown will return to Missouri on Nov. 8 for his second game visit of the season. Although dipping in the rankings to No. 112, the St. Charles (Mo.) Francis Howell Central athlete has improved as a blocker and shown his two-way prowess as a defensive end.

Four-star Jordan Karhoff missed his Mayor’s Cup visit after breaking his ankle during a Columbus (Ohio) St. Francis de Sales game. The Tigers — who have offensive assistant and Ohio recruiter Brendan Boylan involved — will look to reschedule with the No. 202 recruit.

Offensive line

Although not visiting Missouri yet, Dewey Young, the No. 86 overall recruit, still has the Tigers among his growing offers list. An in-state target at Kansas City (Mo.) St. Pius X, No. 200 recruit Kyler Kuhn scheduled his return to Missouri for Nov. 15, the home finale.

Defensive line

Derwin Fields hasn’t visited Missouri yet, but the Tigers remained in contact late into the summer with the help of assistant director of recruiting operations and communications Malcolm Askew. In April, Missouri offered the four-star edge, who ranked No. 146 in Monday’s update.

Secondary

A former Michigan State commit, four-star safety Khalil Terry named Missouri a school to visit, but the No. 129 recruit hasn’t announced a trip date. A top cornerback target for Missouri, Ace Alston — the No. 162 overall prospect — returned to campus for the Border War in September.

No. 218 recruit Jordan Haskins, a versatile defensive back, noted Missouri as a visit destination in either October or November after being offered late into the summer. Two other top cornerback targets — Alex Patton and Bryson Brown — ranked No. 248 and No. 265, respectively. Both have visited Missouri since June.
