Report: Cayden Green will play

According to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Missouri left tackle Cayden Green will play against Alabama on Saturday. MizzouToday is working to confirm the report.
“Cayden Green will be listed as questionable this week,” Missouri coach Eliah Drinkwitz said in his weekly press conference on Tuesday. “He did get some rehab reps (Monday). Really, the challenge will be to see where he is (Tuesday), see how that progresses. Won’t know for certain until the end of the week. So, follow along closely to the SEC availability report and Pete Thamel tweets.”
Green was a preseason All-American at left guard before moving to left tackle two weeks before the season began as the Tigers adjusted their offensive line through fall camp.
Green struggled with the adjustment in Week 1, allowing a sack against Central Arkansas. But he posted two of the best PFF grades for all offensive tackles in Weeks 2 and 3 against Kansas and Louisiana before the injury.
In Week 2, his 90.9 pass-blocking grade was the best among all tackles in the country. In Week 3, his 92.2 offensive player grade was second among all tackles in the country.
He missed the past two weeks with a foot injury that led to a medical procedure the day before the Tigers matched up with South Carolina.
In his absence, Jayven Richardson started at left tackle for the Tigers. He performed admirably against the Gamecocks in Week 4, but struggled at times against UMass in Week 5, allowing two sacks.
