Trey Scott covers high school sports for NCPreps, specializing in football, basketball, and baseball coverage across North Carolina. He founded The Pirate Pulse (2024–present), spent three years with Tar Heel Illustrated (2022–2025), and leads Neuse News Sports (2021–present). A former three-sport athlete and 10-year high school coach, Trey blends firsthand experience with digital media and strong statewide connections to deliver impactful storytelling and in-depth coverage of North Carolina’s prep sports scene.
