Week 2 Standout Performers Across North Carolina

From record-breaking rushing nights to quarterbacks carving up secondaries, Week 2 of the North Carolina high school football season featured some of the biggest individual performances you’ll see all year. Here are the top playmakers from across the state.


Quarterbacks

  • Terrance McCormick (New Bern) — 17-of-22 for 354 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT.
  • Zaid Lott (Providence Day, Sr.) — 19-of-29 for 214 yards, 3 TDs; 11 rushes, 29 yards, 1 TD.
  • Joshton Blaken (West Caldwell) — 15-of-23 for 229 yards, 3 TDs; 14 carries, 56 yards.
  • Gavin Stokes (Jack Britt) — 17-of-28 for 279 yards, 2 TDs.
  • Miles McCallop (Clinton) — 14-of-31 for 209 yards, 2 TDs; 43 rushing yards, 1 TD.
