New Mexico high school football Week 10 rankings for October 20–26. Follow all the movement across every class as teams make their final push with just two weeks remaining in the regular season.

New Mexico Top-30

As the 2025 regular season hits its final two weeks, the Las Cruces Bulldawgs remain the clear No. 1 team in New Mexico high school football. Coach Mark Lopez’s squad (8-0, 4-0 District 3-6A) continues to dominate on both sides of the ball, blanking Alamogordo 47-0 for their third straight shutout. Cleveland holds firm at No. 2 overall, while Artesia jumps to No. 3. Meanwhile, Rio Rancho’s dramatic overtime win over Volcano Vista catapults the Rams into the top four overall, leapfrogging the Hawks. The top ten remains heavily 6A-driven, but St. Michael’s, Bloomfield, and Santa Rosa continue to make noise from the smaller classifications, all staying undefeated and firmly planted among New Mexico’s elite. With district titles and playoff seeding on the line, expect more shuffling as teams push for momentum heading into November.

6A FOOTBALL

The 6A landscape has become clearer at the top but chaotic in the middle. Las Cruces and Cleveland continue their reign, both cruising through district play. Rio Rancho’s overtime win over Volcano Vista gives the Rams a huge boost to No. 3 in 6A and No. 4 overall and solidifies their claim as a top-four seed. La Cueva, Hobbs, and Centennial remain steady, each putting up convincing wins in Week 9 to stay within striking distance of a top-five finish. Cibola climbs to No. 9 overall and No. 8 in 6A after handling Farmington 28-10, while Los Lunas (now 5-2) sits just outside the top ten overall but No. 9 in 6A following a 38-0 shutout over Santa Fe. Further down, Albuquerque High continues to rise, jumping to No. 15 in the class after a 17-14 win over Eldorado, marking one of the better turnaround stories in 6A this season. The rest of the division continues to battle for playoff survival as Sandia, Santa Fe, and West Mesa jockey for late-season momentum.

The Bloomfield Bobcats stay firmly at No. 1 in Class 4A and No. 19 overall after rolling past Bernalillo 60-16, continuing to look like the team to beat. St. Pius X jumps to No. 3 in the class following a dominant 50-0 shutout of Chaparral, while Taos and Silver each rise after key district wins. Albuquerque Academy, after a narrow loss to Silver, slides to sixth in class, but remains a dangerous playoff team.
