Pitt DE Jaeden Moore to Make Season Debut vs. Stanford

Pitt defensive end Jaeden Moore, who suffered an injury in training camp, will make his season and Panther debut Saturday against Stanford.
Stephen Thompson of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that head coach Pat Narduzzi said Moore will be a little limited tomorrow to roughly 15-20 snaps.
The Panthers will “see how it goes” with Moore, who was removed from the initial player availability report Thursday, indicating that he would be available to play.
Coming out of training camp, Moore was listed as a co-starter but has been unavailable for the Panthers during the first two months of the season. He has been rehabbing a lower left leg injury.
A redshirt sophomore, Moore transferred to Pitt from Oregon, where he spent his first two collegiate seasons. During his time at Oregon, Moore appeared in 17 games, recording eight tackles, one tackle for loss and a 0.5 sack.
Moore was rated as a four-star recruit coming out of Central Valley Christian High School in Visalia, Calif. He boasted offers from Notre Dame, Colorado, Washington, Arizona, Michigan State and others.
Pitt’s defensive end room has dealt with injuries throughout the season with Zach Crothers suffering a season-ending injury and starter Blaine Spires in and out of the lineup as he’s been ruled out for the Stanford matchup, per the ACC availability report. With Pitt’s limited edge rushers, the Panthers moved defensive tackle Isaiah Neal to a defensive end role over the past few games.
The second injury report will be released Friday evening at approximately 11:00 p.m. EST. Linebackers Kyle Louis and Rasheem Biles, running back Desmond Reid, wide receiver Kenny Johnson and safety Cruce Brookins were all listed as questionable in the initial report.
