College Football 26 adds Rutgers Freshmen to Video Game
Earlier in the summer, EA Sports the newest version of their ever so popular College Football video game, as they was a long list of updates added in after they made their return last offseason following an 11-year hiatus.
On launch day this offseason, there were 68 members of Rutgers Football’s 2025 roster that were included in the game. On top of that, they also added some new things including the Nike uniforms, the pyrotechnics in pregame, the Scarlet Knight mascot and much more.
The one thing that the team was missing in the game was the true freshmen additions, but that seemed to be the case for every program. However after a few weeks, EA Sports came through just before the kickoff of the 2025 season, adding all in the freshmen in earlier today.
With that being said, let’s take a look at which Rutgers Football freshmen are now in the game and where they are ranked.
New Rutgers Football Rosters Additions
The Scarlet Knights get some much needed additions to the roster, with some of the freshmen pretty highly rated. Some of the top ranked players include running back Terrell Mitchell (77 overall) and cornerback Michael Clayton (76 overall).
Mitchell boasts some solid attributes, including a 89 speed, 90 agility, and an 88 change of direction. Meanwhile also displays some quickness with a 93 speed, 89 agility and 88 change of direction of his own. Mc

Several Players Still Missing
There are still several current Scarlet Knights missing from the game, most of which seem to be guys who either had no interest in putting their name into the game or transferred in this summer and missed the deadline to be in the game. Not to mention, there’s also a limit to the amount of players each program can submit to be in the game.
