As of July 1st, Rutgers Athletics is officially a Nike school once again.

After seven years with Adidas as the main apparel sponsor, Rutgers Athletics has officially returned to Nike starting today. Nike was the long time apparel sponsor for the Scarlet Knights up until July 2017 and that’s when former Athletic Director Pat Hobbs made the decision to switch over to Adidas. However after seven years, the Scarlet Knights are back to donning the check.

According to a report from Jerry Carino back in December, the Nike deal with Rutgers will last five years with the option of five-year extension after that. Along with that, the deal is expected to be valued around $30 million in total. This is considered a big jump from the previous seven year deal with Adidas that was valued just a little bit over the $10 million mark.

With all that being said, let’s take a look at some of the other apparel deals around the Big Ten Conference.
