Rutgers Baseball adds San Diego Transfer Pitcher Dallin Harrison

Rutgers Baseball continues to revamp their roster this offseason via the Transfer Portal, this time they’ve added a commitment former University of San Diego right handed pitcher Dallin Harrison as he announced his commitment to the Scarlet Knights via Instagram recently.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounds pitcher hails from Gilbert, Arizona and played at Basha High School before enrolling at the University of San Diego ahead of the 2024 season.

The Arizona native played two seasons at San Diego and put up some solid numbers with the Toreros. In his two seasons, Harrison pitched in 33 games and made just four starts, as he was mostly used a middle reliever.

Over those two seasons, he posted a record of 2-3 over 46 innings pitched. Harrison also had a combined ERA of 4.50, 32 strikeouts, and an opposing batting average of .263 over those two years. In that same timespan, the Toreros won the WCC Regular-Season Championship two years in a row and this past season came within just one run of winning the WCC Tournament.
