Rutgers Baseball adds St. Peter's Transfer Outfielder Tommy Kendrick

Rutgers Baseball has added another high major addition recently via the Transfer Portal, as former St. Peter’s University outfielder Tommy Kendrick has announced his commitment to the Scarlet Knights via social media.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pounds outfielder hails from Jackson, New Jersey and played at Jackson Memorial High School before enrolling at Felician University (DII) ahead of the 2023 season and transferred over to St. Peter’s prior to the 2025 season.

The New Jersey native played two seasons at Felician and put up some strong numbers with the Golden Falcons. In his two seasons with Felician, thw switch hitter appeared in 103 games and slashed .317/.434/.402 to go along with 114 hits, 16 doubles, six triples, 92 runs scored, one home run and 48 RBIs.
After one season with St. Peter’s, Kendrick made the decision to enter the Transfer Portal on June 2nd and after some time, he found his new home down the street at Rutgers. In his lone season with the St. Peter’s, Kendrick appeared in 47 games and slashed .356/.457/.444, along with 64 hits, six doubles, 35 runs scored, two home runs and 40 RBIs. He also earned second team All-MAAC honors with the Peacocks.
