Rutgers Football OL Dantae Chin out for 2025 season with injury

Rutgers Football has suffered yet another season ending injury today, as offensive lineman Dantae Chin is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign per source.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound offensive lineman suffered his season ending injury last week after getting rolled up on toward the end of a play against Miami (OH) last weekend.

The Weston, Florida native joined the program back in 2022 and redshirted his first season and went on to appear in 19 games over the next two plus seasons. Last year, Chin was asked to step up and played significant snaps after starting left guard Bryan Felter went down with an injury. He went on to play in all 13 games, making four starts and was named the No. 19 overall offensive guard in the Big Ten per PFF.
This season, Chin was expected to come off the bench once again with Felter and Kwabena Asamoah both returning as the starting guards, but a move in the offseason to left tackle thrusted him into that battle and he ended up impressing so much so that he won the job.
With the loss of Chin, he becomes the second offensive tackle out for the season joining fellow left tackle Ryder Langsdale. The two of them join defensive tackle Doug Blue-Eli and safeties DK Gilley, and Noah Shaw.
