Rutgers Football Linebacker Moses Walker out for 2025 season

Rutgers Football has suffered yet another season ending injury today, as linebacker Moses Walker is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign per source.
The 6-foot-2, 232-pound linebacker suffered his season ending non-contact injury last week after approaching the quarterback in the backfield, but turned the wrong way and hurt what look like his leg.

The Staten Island, New York native joined the program back in 2022 and redshirted his first season and went on to appear in 25 games over the next two seasons, mostly as a special teamer and a rotational linebacker. Last season, Walker saw the most snaps of his career on defense, as he appeared in all 13 games and started three of them, while finishing with 31 total tackles and one tackle for loss.
After rotating in and out as one of the top linebackers last season, Walker earned the starting linebacker gig alongside Dariel Djabome this year and had both good and bad moments out on the field. Throughout his three and a half games played, Walker had 17 total tackles (6 solo) and 1 pass deflections on the year.
With the loss of Walker, he becomes the first linebacker out for the season, but not the first Scarlet Knight. He joins a growing list of Rutgers Football players out for the year and you can see the full list below.
