This past weekend, Rutgers Football suffered a ugly 42-9 loss to Ohio State, as they couldn’t do a whole lot on offense against the number one team in the country. The Scarlet Knights are currently 5-6 (2-5) on the year, as they need one more win to clinch the postseason.

On the flip side, Penn State is coming off a dominant 37-10 victory over Nebraska this past Saturday, as they continue to push towards bowl eligibility.

This matchup will be the 35th ever between the two programs, with Penn State leading the series 32-2 all-time. The last time that the Scarlet Knights won was back in 1988 in State College, where Rutgers won 21-16.
