Rutgers Football opens as slight underdogs versus Minnesota

According to FanDuel, Rutgers Football opened as a 3.5-point underdogs for this one versus Minnesota.

Last week, Rutgers Football suffered their first loss of the year, after going back and forth for a while with Iowa. However the Hawkeyes pulled away in the end to win by a final score of 38-28 thus moving the Scarlet Knights to 3-1 on the year.
On the flip side, Minnesota is coming off their first bye week of the season. Prior to that, the Gophers were 2-1 on the year with wins against Buffalo and Northwestern State, along with a loss to California.
This matchup between Minnesota and Rutgers next week will be the fifth ever between the two programs, with the Golden Gophers leading the series 3-1. However the Scarlet Knights own the most recent game in this series, winning by a score 26-19.
