On the flip side, Illinois is coming into this one following a loss. The Fighting Illini traveled out to Washington, but the Huskies came away with a 42-25 victory. The Fighting Illini are now 5-3 on the season.
This matchup between Rutgers and Illinois next week will be the 10th ever between the two programs, as the Fighting Illini are 6-3 all-time in this one. The most recent game took place back last year, as Illinois defeated Rutgers 38-31 inside of SHI Stadium.
