This past weekend, Rutgers Football was on bye after suffering back to back Big Ten Conference losses to Iowa at home and Minnesota on the road. The Scarlet Knights are looking to bounce back in a big way, with a week off to get healthy and ideally get the defense back on track from last season.

On the flip side, Washington is coming off a 24-20 win against Maryland, after traveling cross country this weekend. Prior to that, the Huskies were 3-1 on the year with wins against Colorado State, UC Davis and Washington, along with a loss to Ohio State.

This matchup between Rutgers and Washington next week will be the fourth ever between the two programs, with the Huskies leading the series 2-1. However the Scarlet Knights own the most recent game in this series, winning last year on a Friday night game inside of SHI Stadium by a score of 21-18.
