Rutgers Football reveals new uniforms for 2025 season
Recently Rutgers Athletics made their new deal with Nike official on July 1st and with that several Scarlet Knights athletics programs have shown off some of their new apparel and swag.
On Thursday, the Rutgers Football program did just that as they debuted their new uniforms for the upcoming 2025 season, featuring the swoosh logo of course.

The Scarlet Knights new look uniforms look a lot like their previous ones, as they continue to show off the traditional scarlet top and white pants, with very minor accents on the jersey.
Out of all the changes, the thing that stands out the most might be the pop of the red or scarlet on the jersey themselves, as it seems to be a bit brighter as opposed to the uniforms of year’s past.
The new scarlet-white combo with the Nike logo on them can be seen in the tweet below.
During the Greg Schiano 1.0 era, the Rutgers Football program always had a very traditional look to them with the scarlet helmet, scarlet top and white pants. Now of course, there were some mixtures of the uniforms over the years mixing in a white top, white helmet, black top, black pants and black helmets, which allowed for several different combinations. However Schiano and crew were always pretty big on the traditional look and they got just that again this upcoming season.
The Scarlet Knights will debut these new look Nike uniforms on Thursday, August 28th in a primetime matchup, as they will welcome the Ohio Bobcats to SHI Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:00pm and the game will be televised on FOX.
