Rutgers RB Antwan Raymond, DB Jett Elad named 2025 Cornish Trophy Finalists
Not one, but two Rutgers Football players in running back Antwan Raymond and safety Jett Elad have both been named one of five finalists for the Jon Cornish Trophy, which is presented to the nation’s top Canadian player in college football.

RB Antwan Raymond
The Montréal, Québec native just capped off his sophomore year with the Scarlet Knights, where he rushed for 1,241 yards and 13 touchdowns on 244 total carries and was third in the Big Ten in rushing yards. He also added in 18 receptions for 225 yards and two more scores.
Raymond had on heck of a year for the Scarlet Knights, as he rushed for 100+ yards in four different games this season. The best of those games was against Maryland late in the season, as he rushed 41 times for 240 yards and one score.
S Jett Elad
The Mississauga, Ontario native joined the Scarlet Knights last offseason following a few seasons at UNLV, and immediately earned one of the starting safety spots. This was also Elad’s third year in a row being named a finalist for the award.
