Clemson debuts at No. 4 in preseason AP Top 25 Poll
CLEMSON — The Clemson Tigers are now under three weeks away from their season opener vs. LSU in Death Valley.
The table is officially set for the primetime matchup, as Monday afternoon the Associated Press Poll debuted its preseason top 25 with Clemson coming in at No 4. A week ago, the Tigers debuted at No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

LSU comes in at #9 in the initial AP Poll. It debuted at No. 9 in last week’s Coaches Poll.

The Tigers are an early 3.5-point favorite over LSU, according to BetMGM.
Clemson closed last season with a 10-4 mark and a No. 14 billing in the final AP Poll. The Tigers are seeking a return to the College Football Playoff and are an overwhelming preseason favorite to win the Atlantic Coast Conference.
