Clemson picks up legacy commit P.J. Chancellor

Clemson has again stayed in the family for its latest commitment in the next recruiting class.

Central (S.C.) Daniel junior cornerback PJ Chancellor announced his commitment to the Tigers on Friday.
Chancellor (5-10, 163) is the son of former Clemson corner Christian Chancellor Sr.
“Clemson is a very special place and is the best place to develop me on and off the field,” Chancellor told TigerIllustrated.com.
Western Kentucky, Central Michigan, East Tennessee State, Delaware and West Georgia offered earlier this year. Southern Miss and Sacramento State had since joined since Clemson’s move this summer.
Dabo Swinney personally extended an offer during the Tigers’ camp last month.

Clemson is expected to take at least three corners for the 2027 class as it replenishes the cupboard.

Chancellor becomes the third commitment for the class, which was christened by a current sibling legacy in Jefferson (Ga.) linebacker Max Brown. Four-star QB Kharim Hughley of Gainesville (Ga.) also is on the Tigers’ 2027 commit board.
