A week ago, Clemson scored its first commitment for this class in Davidson (N.C.) Day four-star big Will Stevens.
The Tigers brought in Reynolds and Stevens as their two official visitors in conjunction with the football team’s big LSU opener in late August.
He subsequently took official visits to his other finalists over consecutive weekends.
The needle looked to have moved in favor of the mid-major field for a while.
But in the end, the opportunity and exposure for playing with an ACC school with Clemson’s credentials resonated.
Tigerillustrated.com expects Clemson’s staff to now call it a high school class as next month’s signing period approaches, especially after signing four high-schoolers for the previous cycle.
