Huguenot Wins Big

I try to make one Huguenot Falcons game every year, since that is the high school I attended as part of the Jefferson-Huguenot-Wythe High School.
Huguenot lost their season opener but have since won five straight as they had an easy 75-0 win over Monacan. The Falcons scored early and oftenwith most of the scores coming from 30 yards or more, to lead 54-0 at halftime.
Explosive Numbers
Sophomore quarterback Charles Scott Jr. completed 8 of 16 passes for 278 yards and five touchdowns while also adding a rushing touchdown for the Falcons.
Junior Najarn Bostic had three touchdowns on three receptions for 167 yards, and he also returned a punt for a touchdown. Sophomore Jhamari Cain and Hampton commit Malik Porter both had touchdown receptions.
Cartier Canady had 222 yards on 11 carries with two long touchdown runs. He would have had a 3rd but was tackled at the 2-yard line. Michigan commit Markel Dabney made the most of his two carries with 30 yards and a touchdown. Canady and Dabney both played linebacker as well.

Falcons Defensive Stars
The Falcons’ shutout was led by Jayce Bigelow, who had seven tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble. Linebacker Romelo Perry had nine tackles. Huguenot safety Zayvon Miller delivered a couple of punishing tackles.
