St. Anne's-Belfield Still Unbeaten

The St. Anne’s-Belfield-Atlantic Shores contest had a playoff feel with both teams competing for a playoff spot. The 3-hour bus ride may have impacted the Saints’ start, but they pulled away in the 2nd half for a 36-15 win.
The game was much closer than the 21-point margin. Atlantic Shores led 7-0 at halftime after a 1-yard touchdown run by Bradford Johnson-Colebank. The scoring drive was set up by an interception from Collin Williams and three pass completions from Micah Lance to receiver Josh Sibley.
St. Anne ‘s-Belfield took the lead after halftime on their 1st two drives. Junior Haden Morris (6-3) completed three passes, including a 19-yard touchdown pass to Nafeese Summers. A great punt return by Rylan Goffe-Lambert set up a 23-yard touchdown strike from Morris to Jonah Brent.
Atlantic Shores regained the lead with a 12-play 80-yard drive, which ended with an 8-yard touchdown pass from Micah Lance to Josh Sibley with 2:54 to go in the 3rd quarter.

The 4th quarter belonged to St. Anne’s-Belfield. Morris completed a 19-yard pass to Rylan Goffe-Lambert to give the Saints a 22-15 lead with 5:43 remaining after the 2-point conversion. Unofficially, I had Morris for 16 of 25 completions, totaling 232 yards, as the Saints remained undefeated.
Jonah Brent had only 23 yards rushing midway through the 4th quarter, but I had him for 96 yards rushing and two touchdowns by the end of the game. He finished with three total touchdowns as he had a 23-yard reception for a score.
