West Virginia adds 2026 JUCO DL KJ Henson
West Virginia has added yet another late addition to the 2026 recruiting class by securing the signature of Hutchinson C.C. (Kan.) defensive lineman KJ Henson.
Henson, 6-foot-3, 289-pounds, was previously committed to Minnesota but backed off that pledge on signing day only to ink with the Mountaineers.
He had been committed to the Golden Gophers since taking an official visit Nov. 8.
The Rivals three-star prospect also held offers from Kansas, Purdue, Kansas State, North Texas, Jacksonville State, Troy, Louisiana Tech, Charlotte, Western Michigan and several others.
Henson is coming off a season where he recorded 38 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss and 5.0 sacks earning him First Team All KJCCC honors at defensive tackle. The season before Henson posted 20 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss and 6.0 sacks for the Blue Dragons.
The Glen Burnie, Maryland native has two years of eligibility remaining in his career.
WVSports.com will have more with Henson in the near future.
