Alabama DL LT Overton returning for 2025 season

Alabama defensive lineman LT Overton has chosen to return for his senior year of eligibility following the Crimson Tide’s loss in the ReliaQuest Bowl, he announced on Thursday.
Overton, a junior, was a 5-star recruit out of high school and spent two seasons at Texas A&M before transferring to Alabama this past year. He served as a co-starter at the Crimson Tide’s bandit position alongside Jah-Marien Latham, who also has an NFL decision to make.
Overton was one of Alabama’s most disruptive players along the defensive line this season, totaling 35 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble in the regular season.

Most mock drafts considered Overton to be a day two prospect in the upcoming draft, but he will have another season to up his draft stock.
Aside from Overton, Alabama brought in help at the bandit spot in Florida transfer Kelby Collins, alongside returners Jordan Renaud and Keon Keeley.
