Alabama Pro Day will include 18 former players

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Alabama will hold its Pro Day on Thursday in front of a crowd of NFL evaluators and decision-makers. We’re not just talking about scouts either. We’re talking about over a third of the general managers and almost a third of the head coaches from around the league.
On Wednesday, Jim Nagy, the executive director of the Reese’s Senior Bowl, revealed that 12 different general managers and 10 different head coaches would be in attendance for Alabama’s Pro Day on Thursday. The list of GMs includes the following:
- Buffalo Bills
- Carolina Panthers
- Chicago Bears
- Detroit Lions
- Green Bay Packers
- Las Vegas Raiders
- Miami Dolphins
- New York Giants
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Seattle Seahawks
- Tennessee Titans
- Washington Commanders
Here’s the list of head coaches:
- Frank Reich (Panthers)
- Matt Eberflus (Bears)
- Josh McDaniels (Raiders)
- Mike McDaniel (Dolphins)
- Kevin O’Connell (Vikings)
- Bill Belichick (Patriots)
- Dennis Allen (Saints)
- Brian Daboll (Giants)
- Mike Tomlin (Steelers)
- Pete Carroll (Seahawks)
That’s an impressive list, right? Honestly, we shouldn’t be surprised by the expected crowd.
In total, there are 15 Alabama standouts who just wrapped up their college careers who will be participating in the Pro Day festivities. Three, maybe even four of those could go in the first round, too. That list includes quarterback Bryce Young, linebacker Will Anderson, defensive back Brian Branch and potentially running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
