BOL Video: Alabama adds 5-star WR Cederian Morgan
Welcome back to the BamaOnLine Recruiting Show. Publisher Tim Watts and senior recruiting editor Andrew Bone are here to break down Alabama’s newest commitment in the 2026 class and fourth in as many days: wide receiver Cederian Morgan.
Morgan, from in-state Benjamin Russell High School, is one of the best players in the 2026 class, coming in as a 5-star recruit and the No. 1 player in the state of Alabama. He’s ranked as the No. 15 overall player in his class, and the No. 2 wide receiver.
He’s got a massive frame at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds. Last season, he posted 70 catches for 1,162 yards and 14 touchdowns.
Morgan is one of head coach Kalen DeBoer‘s biggest recruiting wins in the state of Alabama. He chose the Crimson Tide over in-state rival Auburn, as well as the likes of Georgia, Colorado and Florida. He took six unofficial visits to Tuscaloosa dating back to January of 2024, then came back for his final official visit on June 20, where DeBoer and the rest of the staff locked him down.

Morgan becomes Alabama’s seventeenth commitment in the 2026 class and the third wide receiver, joining 3-star Brian Williams and 3-star Owen Cabell.
Other commitments include 5-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds, 5-star running back Ezavier Crowell, 5-star linebacker Xavier Griffin, 4-star quarterback Jett Thomalla, 4-star cornerback Zyan Gibson, 4-star tight end Mack Sutter, 4-star edge rusher Jamarion Matthews, 4-star defensive lineman Kamhariyan Johnson, 4-star offensive linemen Chris Booker and Sam Utu, 4-star running back Javari Barnett, 3-star defensive lineman JJ Finch, 3-star safety Rihyael Kelley, and 3-star linebacker Zay Hall.
