Auburn signee Aden Holloway has been named a 2023 McDonald’s All-American, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Holloway is the No. 30 overall recruit in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally-weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks the No. 7 combo guard in the country.

He started his high school career at Covenant Day School in Matthews, N.C. before transferring to La Lumiere in Indiana. He played at Prolific Prep in California for the 2022-2023 season.

Holloway, who signed with Auburn in November, became the fifth signee in program history to be selected to McDonald’s All-American game and third since Bruce Pearl was hired in 2014. Holloway joins Jabari Smith Jr. (2021), Sharife Cooper (2020, Korvotney Barber (2005) and Frank Ford (1983) as Auburn signees selected to play in the game.

The 2023 McDonald’s All-American game will take place in Houston, Texas on March 28.
