MLB Draft recap: Day two

Six Auburn players and two Auburn signees were drafted during the second day of the 2025 MLB Draft Monday. Auburn had a total of seven players selected in this year’s draft — including Ike Irish going 19th overall to the Baltimore Orioles.
Toronto goes back-to-back on Tigers
Shortstop Eric Snow was the first Auburn name off the board on day two. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays with the 172nd overall pick in the sixth round. Snow’s slot value is $383.6K.
Toronto used its seventh round pick on right-handed pitcher Dylan Watts. The slot value for Watts, who was drafted 202nd overall, is $299.9K.
Additional pitchers get the call
Following Watts’ selection, four other Auburn pitchers were also drafted. Cam Tilly, Samuel Dutton, Hayden Murphy and Cade Fisher all got the call. JUCO signee Jacob Johnson was also selected.
Tilly was selected in the seventh round by the New York Mets with the 223rd overall pick. He has a slot value of $254K.

The Athletics drafted Dutton 290th overall in the 10th round, with a slot value of $194.1K.
Johnson, who’s a JUCO signee out of Pearl River C.C. in Mississippi, was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 11th round with the 325th overall pick.
Murphy was picked in the 15th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks with overall pick No. 453. Fisher went three rounds later to the Boston Red Sox with the 538th overall pick in round 18.
High school signee selected late
Auburn had one of its high school signees drafted, with right-handed pitcher Ethin Bingaman going in the final round to Arizona, drafted with the 603rd overall pick.
