Auburn football recruiting podcast: Today’s episode of Auburn Live’s recruiting podcast features the AuburnLiveOn3 recruiting team of Jeffrey Lee, Keith Niebuhr and Cole Pinkston, plus message board insider/fan correspondent “Jhead” and producer Zach McKinnell.

We discuss several top in-state targets, some of whom Cole Pinkston visited earlier this week. Is Auburn a legit contender for them? Maybe even the team to beat for at least one? Plus, we look even more into the commitment of four-star quarterback Walker White and the impact it could have on the Tigers’ class.

FASTEST NEW AUBURN TIGER

Jeremiah Cobb: The 4-star running back from Montgomery Catholic is fast without pads. And he’s fast with them, too. Auburn has a lot of guys in this class who can move (JC Hart and Kayin Lee come to mind), but Cobb’s wheels impress the most. And, he seems to hit that extra gear when needed. “His speed is definitely something you don’t find in an everyday athlete,” Cobb’s coach, Kirk Johnson, told Auburn’s Live’s Cole Pinkston (Read more HERE).

BEST HANDS HEADED TO AUBURN

Daquayvious Sorey: Seeing as though Auburn signed only one receiver, one running back and no tight ends this cycle, this was an easy choice. But the truth is, the 3-star receiver from Chipley (Fla.) has some of the best hands in the South. He’s tall and long and with his ability to high point the ball he really has a chance to be a very good playmaker in the SEC. On film, Sorey often makes catches that should be difficult look fairly easy.
