GAINESVILLE, Fla. — The Florida Gators dropped out of the latest Associated Press Poll on Sunday following their 18-16 loss to USF on Saturday. The Bulls cracked the top 25 at No. 18.

Florida also fell out of the Coaches Poll on Sunday.

The Gators received 70 votes in the latest AP poll, which ranks 29th nationally. After debuting as a top-15 team in the preseason rankings and moving up to No. 13, UF is now unranked and will play the nation’s No. 3, No. 5 and No. 7 teams over the next three games.

Florida currently has eight teams still on its 2025 schedule ranked in the top 25: LSU (3), Miami (5), Georgia (6), Texas (7), Florida State (10), Tennessee (15), Texas A&M (16) and Ole Miss (17).

The Gators (1-1) open SEC play on Saturday with their first road game at LSU. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Tigers (2-0) had an ugly 23-7 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday.
