Gators Online Show: Billy Gonzales returning as Florida WR coach
Welcome to the Gators Online Show! For episode 43, co-hosts Zach Abolverdi and Nick de la Torre discuss the hire of Billy Gonzales as Florida’s wide receivers coach, Billy Napier filling out his coaching staff and more.
The show begins with the Gonzales news, which was first reported by Gators Online on Wednesday. Abolverdi and de la Torre share their takeaways on the hire along with some strong comments from former Florida receivers about Gonzales.

Abolverdi and de la Torre then give their thoughts on new defensive coordinator Austin Armstrong, who met UF reporters for the first time this week. They also react to Trevor Etienne’s first interview with the media following his Freshman All-SEC season.
The guys wrap up the show by discussing the first week of spring ball, Florida’s season opener against Utah and GatorMade’s second annual Business Break in New York City.
