The Gators opened as 10-point underdogs at Tennessee, which has not been favored against UF by that much in more than two decades.

Sunday marked the biggest point spread for the Vols as favorites in the series in at least 25 years, according to OddsShark.com. That line could drop in the coming days but is still a significant spread considering the rivalry’s recent history.

Florida has won five straight in the series and 16 of the last 17 games. The Vols haven’t beaten UF since 2016, which is the last time they were favored (by five points).

In the past 25 years, Florida was an underdog against Tennessee just six times and won four of those games. UF has been the favorite in 19 games and won all but one (2003).

The No. 20 Gators (2-1, 0-1 SEC) will travel to Rocky Top on Saturday to face No. 11 Tennessee (3-0). Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS from a sold-out Neyland Stadium.
