A wild 72-hour ride has come to an end, as the 2023 NFL Draft is officially over and done with, leaving the Florida Gators with six draft picks.

Headlined by No. 4 overall pick quarterback Anthony Richardson, the Gators had three players drafted in the first two rounds, seeing defensive lineman Gervon Dexter and offensive lineman O’Cyrus Torrence go at No. 53 and No. 59, respectively.

The next Gator off the board was Ventrell Miller, who the nearby Jacksonville Jaguars landed at No. 121. The Bills then grabbed wide receiver Justin Shorter with the No. 150 overall pick. At No. 203, linebacker Amari Burney found his new home in Las Vegas.

Others are expected to be picked up as undrafted free agents as the night goes on.

Here are the best social media reactions around the Gators’ selections over days two and three.

Day Two kicks off with Gervon Dexter going to the Bears

Florida defensive lineman Gervon Dexter was drafted 53rd overall, going to Chicago. The Polk County native should fight for reps early and often with the Bears.

A few picks later, O’Cyrus Torrence goes to Buffalo

With pick 59, the Buffalo Bills selected O’Cyrus Torrence, their first of multiple draft picks from Florida. Josh Allen now has a new best friend up front.

Day Three

Ventrell Miller stays in Florida, goes to Jacksonville

Florida linebacker Ventrell Miller was first to go, drafted by the nearby Jacksonville Jaguars with pick 121. Although some expected Miller to slip later into the day, the Jags took a chance on Miller, who is outstanding in run support and brings leadership to the linebacker room.

Justin Shorter becomes the second Gator to go to Buffalo

With the 150th overall pick, Justin Shorter went to Buffalo, joining Torrence in the snow. Right away, Allen gets a deep threat, joining an already stacked Buffalo receiving core.

Amari Burney heads to Sin City

With pick 203, the Las Vegas Raiders selected Florida linebacker Amari Burney. While Burney was drafted as a linebacker, he has the ability to move around on defense and could prove to be a utility guy for the Raiders.
