After winning at Clemson, Florida State falls one spot in Coaches' Poll and AP Top 25
Despite claiming a dramatic overtime victory Saturday at Clemson, the Florida State football team fell one spot to No. 4 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll, which was released Sunday afternoon. The Seminoles (4-0, 2-0 in the ACC) were No. 3 in the coaches’ poll last week.
Florida State also fell one spot to No. 5 in the AP Top 25; the Seminoles were No. 4 last week in that poll.
Dropping a spot isn’t ideal, but this is the latest Florida State has had a top-five ranking since the 2014 team carried a No. 1 or No. 2 national ranking throughout the entire regular season and into the College Football Playoff.
Georgia and Michigan continue to hold the top two spots in the coaches’ poll, while Ohio State moved up to No. 3 following its 17-14 win at Notre Dame.

The top four teams in the AP Top 25 are Georgia, Michigan, Texas and Ohio State.
FSU stayed undefeated Saturday by rallying from a pair of 10-point deficits to force overtime and then record a 31-24 victory.
