Florida State falls to 1-9 after blowout loss at Notre Dame

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Another brutal night for the Florida State offense. Another late collapse for the Seminoles’ defense. Another blowout loss.
Squaring off against one of the best defenses in college football, Florida State moved the ball fairly effectively early on. The ‘Noles drove 75 yards on their first possession of the game and capped it off with a Ryan Fitzgerald field goal.

But they would not score again, as No. 10 Notre Dame pulled away for a 52-3 victory.
With the win, the Fighting Irish improved to 8-1 on the season. Florida State fell to 1-9.
Florida State has lost its last three games by a combined margin of 123-28.
The Seminoles will now have their third bye week of the season before finishing the 2024 season with home games against Charleston Southern and Florida.
