Florida State will be without one of its top cornerbacks for the rest of the season. Head coach Mike Norvell announced Monday morning that Ja’Bril Rawls will be out for the remainder of 2025 with an injury.

“Ja’Bril is going to be out for the rest of the year unfortunately,” Norvell said. “He’s had a really good season up to this point… a guy we’re excited about what’s ahead.”

Rawls, a redshirt sophomore from Pensacola, played in seven games this season. He logged 40 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, an interception and two pass breakups.

In Rawls’ absence, freshman cornerback Shamar Arnoux has been pressed into action.

Florida State returns to the field Friday night against N.C. State (8 p.m. ET, ESPN).
