Florida State leading scorer Matthew Cleveland announces he's entering transfer portal

Leonard Hamilton apparently will have to replace his leading scorer as he tries to rebuild his Florida State men’s basketball program.
Sophomore Matthew Cleveland, who averaged 13.8 points this past season, announced Tuesday evening on Twitter that he is entering the transfer portal. Cleveland also was the Seminoles’ leading rebounder for most of the season, averaging 7.4 boards.
Cleveland joins third-leading scorer Caleb Mills as the first two players from the 2022-23 squad to enter the portal. Mills recently announced that he is transferring to Memphis.
The Seminoles are expected to see substantial changes to the roster this offseason after a 9-23 campaign this past season.
