Florida State-UF Game Updates: Live from The Swamp
GAINESVILLE — The No. 5 Florida State football team is taking on the rival Florida Gators tonight at 7 p.m. in the regular-season finale for both schools.
It stands to be an emotional evening for the Seminoles, who are playing without starting quarterback Jordan Travis, who went down with a season-ending leg injury last Saturday. Travis is actually with the team here in Gainesville and was wearing his white No. 13 game jersey during pregame warmups.
Travis, who was sitting on the Florida State team bench with crutches by his side, appeared to be in good spirits as he smiled for numerous FSU fans who wanted to take his picture.
The Seminoles wore special black T-shirts during pregame warmups with the hashtag #FinishFor13 on the front. That has been the team’s rallying cry since his injury in the North Alabama game.
Redshirt junior Tate Rodemaker is starting for the Seminoles, who will be wearing white jerseys with gold pants.

The Gators also will be playing with a backup quarterback, as redshirt freshman Max Brown gets the start in place of the injured Graham Mertz.
Florida State is 11-0 and trying to finish the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record.
