It was another dominant victory for the No. 7-ranked Florida State football team, but there was some drama in the first half Saturday when quarterback Tommy Castellanos limped off the field with an apparent ankle injury.

Castellanos didn’t come back into the game, but he appeared to be walking without a limp after the game and said it was just a scare after a player rolled up on him from behind.

“All good,” Castellanos said after FSU’s 66-10 victory over Kent State. “Just got rolled up a little bit. All good. 100 percent.”

The Florida State quarterback completed 10 of 13 passes for 205 yards before the injury. He also ran for 54 yards and two touchdowns on seven carries.

Florida State now will have a short week before traveling to face Virginia on Friday night. FSU head coach Mike Norvell said the Seminoles still need to see how Castellanos looks after the game, but he believes the injury will be, “manageable.”
