The 2025 National Champion Florida State Seminoles soccer team returned home to fanfare and celebration Tuesday afternoon. FSU fans greeted and cheered as the ‘Noles disembarked from their flight home to Tallahassee.

The Seminoles then arrived on campus to light the Unconquered Statue spear.

The spear lighting event will be followed by a 5:30 event inside the Champions Club at Doak Campbell Stadium where FSU fans can hear from and interact with the soccer team.

FSU soccer beat No. 1 seed Stanford, 1-0, Monday night in Kansas City and won its fifth national championship in school history.

The offensive hero once again was Wrianna Hudson, who scored with just over three minutes remaining to break a scoreless tie. In the semifinals of the College Cup, Hudson scored in the 73rd minute to give Florida State a 1-0 win over TCU.

This is the Seminoles’ second national title in the last three years and second under head coach Brian Pensky. It is Florida State’s third national championship in the last five years.
