The War Path: FSU Recruiting Podcast previews big Miami weekend

Florida State is bringing in a stacked list of recruits for its ranked showdown with the Miami Hurricanes on Saturday night. Over 100 prospects are expected in attendance, including some of the most talented prospects in the country.

This week’s topics include talking about a potential flip of three-star tight end Corbyn Fordham from Ohio State (Note: Fordham ended up flipping to the Seminoles later on Friday), some surprise visitors added to the Miami list, including offensive tackle Aaron Thomas and defensive back Lasiah Jackson, and more recruits Florida State could circle back on following recent coaching changes elsewhere.

Florida State will look to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season 46-38 to Virginia in double-overtime on Friday.

FSU knocked off 10th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will not play another non-conference game until its regular season finale at Gainesville vs. the Florida Gators.

FSU will continue its ACC slate on Saturday, October 4th in Tallahassee against the Miami Hurricanes. The teams have split their last 10 meetings. Miami has not won in Doak Campbell Stadium since 2019.

The Hurricanes had a bye in week five and come into the contest 4-0 including wins over Notre Dame and Florida.
