The FSU football team has jumped out to an impressive 2-0 start, including a signature win over a top-10 Alabama squad. Will the results on the field create tangible positive developments in recruiting?

This week’s topics include a discussion on how real Florida State’s chances are with four-star running back Derrek Cooper, another big basketball visit weekend, the Seminoles circling back on four-star safety Kaiden Hall and some other UF commits after the Gators’ loss to USF, and lastly, Matt and Nick answer your questions.

Florida State will face Kent State next Saturday inside Doak Campbell Stadium. It will be the first meeting between the two programs. The Golden Flashes dropped to 1-1 on the season after a 62-14 loss at Texas Tech.

FSU will begin its ACC slate on Friday, Sept. 26, in Charlottesville against the Virginia Cavaliers. The teams last met in 2019 when the ‘Hoos held off the ‘Noles, 31-24, in Scott Stadium.
