Warchant Report: Will FSU overpower Kent State before dialing in for ACC slate?

Florida State will face Kent State Saturday inside Doak Campbell Stadium at 3:30 p.m.. It will be first meeting between the two programs. The Golden Flashes dropped to 1-2 on the season after a 31-28 loss at home to Buffalo.
FSU has won three of its last four season openers, all vs. teams from the SEC (2022 – LSU, 2023 – LSU, 2025 – Alabama).
FSU will begin its ACC slate on Friday, September 26th in Charlottesville against the Virginia Cavaliers. The teams last met in 2019 when the Hoos held off the ‘Noles 31-24 in Scott Stadium. Virginia improved to 2-1 on the season following its 55-16 win over William & Mary.
