Warchant TV: Florida State coordinators wrap up loss to UVA, look ahead to Miami
Florida State (3-1, 0-1) dropped to 18th in the AP Poll following its double overtime loss to Virginia on Friday and will quickly pivot to a clash against No. 3 Miami (4-0, 0-0) on Saturday.
On Sunday, Florida State coordinators Gus Malzahn and Tony White touched on the performance of their segments and their expectations vs. Miami.
Malzahn was complimentary of new Miami defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman and the Hurricanes defensive front and expressed confidence that the team will respond well coming off the loss.

White was disappointed with the run defense but for the most part upbeat saying, “the men were one play away. The one play away was everywhere.”

Florida State will look to bounce back after suffering its first loss of the season 46-38 to Virginia in double overtime on Friday.
FSU knocked off 10th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will not play another non-conference game until its regular season finale at Gainesville vs. the Florida Gators
FSU will continue its ACC slate on Saturday, October 4th in Tallahassee against the Miami Hurricanes. The teams have split their last 10 meetings. Miami has not won in Doak Campbell Stadium since 2019.
The Hurricanes had a bye in week five and come into the contest 4-0 including wins over Notre Dame and Florida.
