Warchant TV: Mike Norvell, Florida State coordinators post practice interview, Thursday
Florida State held a 24 period practice on Thursday afternoon in the lead up to Saturday’s Spring Showcase.
Afterwards, head coach Mike Norvell discussed his satisfaction with the overall growth of the team this spring, the physicality at practices and the speed on the roster.
Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller called Azareye’h Thomas the most improved player on defense and touched on the versatility and depth across the board on his side of the ball.
The Spring Showcase will begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon inside an under construction Doak Campbell Stadium. The event will mark the 14th practice of spring and the team will reconvene on Sunday for its 15th and final practice. The event will not be a game format but a practice-scrimmage hybrid.

Florida State opens the 2024 season in the Aer Lingus College Football classic vs. Georgia Tech on Aug. 24 in Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

The Seminoles finished the 2023 season 13-1 with an ACC Championship and its first New Year’s Six bowl berth in 7 seasons.
Florida State has added 14 players from the transfer portal and a high school recruiting class that finished 14th in the 2024 cycle. The 2024 transfer window reopens on Tuesday April 16 and closes on April 30.
